About Me

My Journey into Marketing
Though I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas A&M University, my love for writing—particularly scientific
writing—first took root during my undergraduate years. While studying, I began freelancing, editing and formatting academic papers for
peers and professors, which ultimately led me to discover my passion for blending science and communication.
In 2019, I took my first formal step into marketing at Reynolds & Reynolds. There, I quickly applied my analytical
background to my new role, assisting customers, generating lead data, and creating market analysis reports. My work eventually expanded
into trade show coordination and event planning, where I collaborated closely with sales teams across multiple industries.
Over time, I evolved into a marketing content writer and editor, eventually leading content efforts for a major product rebranding
initiative of MOGO, including the creation and relaunch of the website, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials. I later served
as the lead content creator for KeyTrak and managed all written content, from blog posts and advertisements to full-scale campaigns.
I then became the lead content strategist for three Reynolds subsidiaries—AppOne, IMN, and GAS—developing digital and
traditional marketing campaigns across the recreational, financial, and automotive industries. I worked cross-functionally with event
teams, coordinated hundreds of trade shows annually, and ensured the seamless delivery of marketing materials.
Currently, I’ve joined the Reynolds & Reynolds Events Marketing for Allied Businesses team, where I manage communications,
logistics, inventory, and ROI reporting for allied brands. I oversee end-to-end coordination of pre- and post-show operations,
maintain promotional materials, and support sales teams nationwide.
A Love for Science & Learning
My love of science was nurtured from an early age. With a father holding a Ph.D. in Genetics and a mother with a Biology degree,
curiosity and discovery were part of everyday life. I spent countless hours in labs, learning protocols, and absorbing the joy of scientific
exploration.
As a teen, I interned at a veterinary clinic and later at the TAMU Physics Department, where I was exposed to cutting-edge research. In
college, I found myself particularly drawn to courses like:
- Computational Genomics – Hands-on training in organizing and analyzing genomic data using platforms like Galaxy and R.
- Integrative Animal Behavior – A deep dive into behavioral ecology and scientific critique, including analysis of research on pair bonding in prairie voles.
- Immunology & Great Diseases of the World – Rigorous coursework exploring the immune system, historical pandemics, and modern challenges. I even published a book review of Deadliest Enemy: Our War Against Killer Germs in Science Editor.
Certifications earned in 2022:
My thirst for knowledge didn’t stop at graduation. In 2022, I pursued certifications to strengthen my digital marketing skills:
- Digital Marketing Professional Certification – Digital Marketing Institute (in collaboration with the American Marketing Association)
- Digital Marketing & E-commerce Certificate – Google (via Coursera)
- Hands-on training in analytics, email campaigns, lead generation, and more.
Creative Interests & Hobbies
Creativity has always been an integral part of my identity. Since 2008, I’ve written and produced collaborative skits and video content. I’m a lifelong musician (violinist), a black belt in Taekwondo, and a multi-disciplinary artist dabbling in watercolor, acrylics, bookbinding, and stamp making. As a passionate reader and storyteller, I’ve also written original fiction and participated in narrative-driven role-playing games, exploring character development and immersive world-building. Photography is another creative outlet I enjoy, and all the photos featured on this website were taken by me.
Final Thoughts
Above all, I’m someone who believes in lifelong learning, honest work, and creative exploration. Whether I’m developing a marketing campaign, writing an in-depth analysis, or painting in my free time, I bring passion, curiosity, and a drive to grow in everything I do.
